My approach to counseling
Are you dealing with issues related to anxiety, depression, relationship problems, or even trauma and abuse? I work with adult, individuals, and families dealing with painful or intense emotions, everyday problems and issues.
Together we develop healthy coping skills to become successful in school, work, home, and society.
Additionally, I can offer Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing- EMDR to engage your brain in the problem solving process. I help individuals with a variety of issues, including, but not limited to job stress, relationship problems, confidence and self esteem, difficulty moving on from troubled pasts, depression, and anxiety. I help families dealing with dysfunction, disruptive behaviors, major changes, and problems getting along. I also utilize mindfulness and meditation techniques, client centered approach, and cognitive behavior therapy.
I enjoy working with persons of all ages, but I am especially interested in working with young adults. My approach to treatment is Client Center and Emotionally Focused Therapy, which is contingent upon the client's personality and therapeutic goals. I am open the needs of the person and will focus treatment on present concerns.

At this time I am not a Medicaid, HIP, Hoosier Health Wise, MHS, or other state managed insurance policies. I can only accept these client's though private pay or sliding scale when eligible.
I work with most third party insurance: BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, United Health Care(optium), Beacon, Sagamore, Humana, TRICARE, Medicare, and a variety of other private insurances.
I am happy to bill out of out of network(OON) and provide a statement to the client for insurance reimbursement.
I also work with many Employee Assistance Programs, please check with your carriers.
Finally, I work with individuals who prefer to pay out of pocket for services. I have a self-pay rate starting at 200 per session. Rates can be discussed at session.
Insurance can be verified with the Reflections Counseling Associates office.
